The Museums Serves Up History at the Egg Rolls, Egg Creams, & Empanadas Street Festival

Festival season is here, and the Brooklyn Seltzer Museum got in on the action!

For the first time, the Museum ran a booth at the 24th annual "Egg Rolls, Egg Creams & Empanadas" Street Festival, hosted by the Museum at Eldridge Street! We were right next to the Brooklyn Seltzer Boys and their booth serving--what else?-egg creams.

We brought family-friendly activities to the event, store merch, historical artifacts, exhibit content... and a visit from Spritz the Siphon.

We were excited to celebrate the diverse cultures that make the Lower East Side and Chinatown community so special. And we deeply appreciated the tremendous help provided by the many Musuem volunteers who stepped up to help us out all day.
